25 Expats Arrested for Labour Law Violations in Muscat

In a targeted effort to ensure compliance with labour laws, Oman's Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with relevant authorities, has apprehended 25 expatriates in Muscat Governorate for violations.

The crackdown comes as part of the ministry's ongoing commitment to monitor the expat workforce and address issues related to their adherence to labour law provisions. 

The specific focus of this initiative is the prevention of unauthorized selling activities carried out by expatriates in Muscat Governorate, particularly in the Wilayats of Qurayyat and Amerat.

Legal measures are currently underway against the offenders, the ministry announced. 

This decisive action reflects the government's dedication to maintaining the integrity of labour regulations and ensuring fair practices in the workforce. Stay tuned for further updates as the ministry continues its efforts to uphold the labour laws in Muscat Governorate.
