All You Need to Know About Tourism Pioneers Program

The Tourism Pioneers Program, launched by the Saudi government to train 100,000 young males and females in the top 10 universities and educational institutions specialized in the tourism sector in the world, is at the top of the huge training programs at a cost of SAR 375 million, according to the Saudi Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, through his official account on Twitter, on Tuesday, 7 June. Here are the most important details regarding the Tourism Pioneers Program.

Target Group

Saudi youth looking for a job or working in the tourism sector, in cooperation with a number of leading international training institutes, which will offer a package of specialized programs in the tourism sector designed to meet the needs of the tourism labor market in Saudi Arabia.

Expected Outcomes

• Develop the skills of workers in the tourism sector to meet the sector's needs for local talent
• Provide practical training opportunities for the youth to improve their skills
• Support growth and employment opportunities within the sector

Terms of Applying

In order to apply to Tourism Pioneers Program, the applicant must:

• Be a Saudi national
• Hold a diploma or higher
• Have IELTS/TOEFL/STEP
• Submit a passport valid for at least one year
• Have completed the three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine

It has been pointed out that the registration process involves filling out the application form on the official website of the Tourism Human Capital Development Programs.

Please note that registration in the program does not mean final acceptance, as after filling out the registration form, the screening process for applicants and selection of those accepted will take place.
