10 Luxury Hotels Will Open in Qatar Ahead of The World Cup
Hotelier middle east website published a report in which it revealed that the hospitality sector in Qatar is about to be strengthened with ten new high-quality hotels, which are expected to be officially inaugurated before giving the kick-off to the activities of the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Doha, starting from the twentieth of November.
The report confirmed that 10 luxury hotels are ready to open their doors within the next few weeks in front of the tournament’s visitors, whose number is expected to exceed one million, coming from different countries of the world, in order to encourage their teams in this global event.
The report added that Andaz Doha Hotel, located in West Bay, may be the first hotel to enter service in the immediate phase, which has 319 fully equipped rooms, in addition to "The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort" located in the Katara Cultural Village, where the readiness rate has reached 100%, awaiting the official announcement of its launch date, indicating that it will provide 59 rooms and 32 high-quality chalets, While the "Doha EDITION" hotel, which has 200 rooms, is the third hotel expected to operate in the coming period, as is the case of the amazing "Fairmont - Raffles Doha" hotel, which is divided into two parts, the Fairmont, which includes 361 rooms and suites, while Raffles has a capacity of 132 suites and 49 apartments.
The report pointed to the floating hotels that will also land on Qatari beaches to receive World Cup fans starting next November, when the "MSC World Europa" and "MSC Poesia Cruise Ship Hotels" will arrive, in addition to "The Ned Doha", which has 90 rooms and 12 suites, all with outdoor balconies, seven restaurants, a gym, and a spa.
In addition to "St Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl Qatar", "Bin Al Sheikh Residences by Rotana and Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana" and "Waldorf Astoria Lusail, Doha".
