The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has completed its preparations to prepare all mosques and Eid chapels at the state level, to receive worshipers and enable them to perform the blessed Eid Al-Adha prayers with comfort and spirituality, keeping pace with the joy of this occasion in light of the recovery that the country is witnessing from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Authority directed 6 main instructions to organize Eid al-Adha prayers in various mosques and chapels, within the framework of its concern for the safety of worshipers and to create the ideal environment that enables them to perform their prayers with peace and ease.
The doors of chapels and mosques will be allowed to open for the Eid prayer after the dawn prayer on the day of Eid, then the external loudspeakers will be opened to broadcast the Eid takbeer half an hour before the prayer.
The entry and exit of worshipers will be supervised, in cooperation with volunteers, to avoid overcrowding. The list of instructions also included adherence to the precautionary measures followed in mosques by wearing a mask, applying the physical distance between worshipers at a distance of one meter, and using a personal prayer rug for each worshiper.
The preventive protocol announced by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority regarding the Eid al-Adha prayer stipulates the need to prepare the outer courtyards of mosques with physical distancing stickers, with the possibility of benefiting from parks and public parking spaces adjacent to mosques.
