The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Oman's Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) reported that a 6.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in in the Gulf of Aden on Saturday, June 3rd.
The earthquake was recorded at 11:17am local time, at a depth of 10km. The earthquake was recorded 802km away from Salalah.
However, there were no injuries or damage to property reported.
