Authorities in Abu Dhabi have announced today, 28 December 2021, new updated entry requirements to the Emirate in fresh measures to combat the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The new measures will be going into force starting from Thursday, 30 December 2021, and it includes the following rules:
- Covid-vaccinated individuals wishing to enter the Emirate from within the UAE will need to show a green status on the Al Hosn app.
- Not vaccinated individuals will need to present a negative PCR test result received within 96 hours.
- EDE scanners will be used to rapidly detect potential Covid-19 cases.
