Al Hilal faced Iran's Esteghlal FC in the much-anticipated AFC Champions League match on Monday, Nov. 4 and won the match with a score of 3-0.
The match took place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. Aleksandar Mitrović scored the first goal for Al Hilal in the 16th minute of the match with Salem Aldawseri's cross. He went high and headed the ball into the left corner, securing the goal for his team.
The Serbian striker did not stop there; he secured the second goal for his team in the 32nd minute of the match with a pass from Renan Lodi.
The first half ended with Al Hilal having secured two goals and Esteghlal none. The Saudi FC continued its goal streak with a third goal from Mitrović.
João Cancelo received the pass from the right and crossed for the Serbian striker to head powerfully into the left corner.
Esteghlal was not able to match the score for the remainder of the match, leading to Al Hilal's win.
