Expo 2020 Dubai marked the 100-day milestone with a stunning light display that was projected on the Al Wasl dome.
More than 250 laser projectors were used to light up the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface on Wednesday night, organisers said.
The Burj Khalifa also marked the ocassion with a special light show.
The six-month event, which kicks off on October 1, will see more than 200 participants – including nations, multilateral organisations, businesses, and educational institutions, as well as millions of visitors - come together under the theme - ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the countdown for Expo 2020 Dubai.
In 100 days, the UAE will be the first country in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region to host a World Expo in the largest global gathering since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Set to begin on 1st October, Expo 2020 Dubai is expected to attract more than 25 million visitors from all over the world to discover life-changing innovations.
