Americana Restaurants International has completed the acquisition of the Pizza Hut brand from the Khimji Ramdas Group.
Americana is the leading dining and quick-service restaurant operator in the MENA region and Kazakhstan. It acquired 46 Pizza Hut branches in the Sultanate, which have an annual revenue of approximately $11 million in 2024.
The company's strategy is to expand its regional presence and strengthen its presence in existing regional markets.
With this acquisition, the company has increased its network of Pizza Hut restaurants in the region to 450, further solidifying its position as a category leader in pizza restaurants.
The company's portfolio includes iconic global brands including KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee’s, Krispy Kreme, Peet’s Coffee, Wimpy, TGI Friday’s, Costa Coffee, and Baskin Robbins.
