Arrivals at Oman’s Airports Soar by 94% in February 2023

The number of arrivals via Omani airports increased by 94 percent by the end of February 2023, according to the latest data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The number of inbound and outbound international flights through Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport and Sohar Airport surged by 112.4 percent hitting 14,250, up from 6,708 during the same period a year earlier.
Indians topped the number of passengers on inbound and outbound international Omani flights with 123,130 passengers at the end of last February, followed by the Bangladeshi passengers with a total of 44,233, then the Pakistani passengers with 37,130.
Also, number of domestic inbound and outbound flights via Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport and Sohar Airport edged up by only 1.1 percent to reach 1,994 compared to 1,973 during the same period in 2022.
