The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) successfully rescued eight individuals who lost their way while hiking in the Bandar Al Khairan area of Muscat Governorate.
The CDAA reported that their rescue teams responded promptly to the incident, ensuring the safety of all involved.
The swift action of the rescue teams was crucial. One of the hikers was found to be suffering from severe exhaustion, a potentially dangerous condition given the heat and physical exertion involved in hiking. The CDAA teams provided immediate medical assistance on-site, stabilizing the individual and ensuring no further health complications.
The authority's statement detailed the operation: "Rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate responded to a report of eight people who lost their way while walking in the Bandar Al Khairan area. The teams were able to reach them and provide emergency medical care to one individual suffering from exhaustion. All are in good health."
