Oman-based crypto exchange Easy Coins has received approval from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in the Sultanate.
Easy Coins was founded in 2021 and has now become the country's first virtual assets service provider to be registered with the CMA.
The crypto exchange provides buying and selling cryptocurrency. The exchange ensures that customers' crypto and money are under their personal control.
CMA is Oman's regulatory financial authority responsible for capital markets and the financial service industry in the Sultanate.
The authority has provided new regulations regarding all virtual asset transactions.
CMA also provides a supervisory framework to identify, analyze, and stop ongoing risks with virtual assets transactions.
