The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) has announced that the moon marking the start of Dhul Hijjah 1445 AH was not sighted on Thursday. As a result, the first day of Dhul Hijjah in Oman will be Saturday, June 8, and Eid al Adha will commence on Monday, June 17.
