The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced the completion of the development work on Manama Street in Dubai, which is part of the Dubai-Al Ain Street Development Project, which opened in May 2022.
The Manama Street development works included the construction of a new traffic axis linking Al-Midan Street with Al-Manama Street, and crossing over the Dubai-Al-Ain Road through a bridge link with 4 traffic lanes in each direction with linking ramps with Dubai-Al-Ain Road.
The development work included converting the intersection of Manama Street with Nadd Al Hammar Street from a roundabout to an intersection controlled by traffic lights, and allocating two lanes with a minimum of left turns in all directions, as well as a free lane for turning right with 3 traffic lanes (minimum) for continuous traffic.
