The temperate and tropical regions of all the oceans on the planet are home to Risso's dolphins, which are also known as gray dolphins. Since they can dive to a depth of at least 1,000 feet and hold their breath for 30 minutes, these dolphins often prefer deeper offshore waters. Typically, Risso's dolphins are found in packs of 10 to 30 animals.
