Emergency And Crime Numbers Across The UAE
Dial 999 for police. Dial 998 for an ambulance. All emergency or crime hotlines across the UAE incase of an emergency or you need to report a crime.

General Emergency phone numbers
You may call any of the following numbers anywhere in the UAE incase of an emergency:
- 999 for Police
- 998 for Ambulance
- 997 for Fire Department and Civil Defense
- 996 for Coastguard
- 991 for Electricity failure
- 922 for Water failure.
Dubai
In Dubai the DCAS SOS app is available in order to request for emergency ambulances, the app has an SOS feature which sends your exact location to Dubai’s Corporation for Ambulance Services. It has services available for people of determinations including those with hearing or visual impairments.
Crimes
- In order to report crimes call 999 while anywhere in the UAE, different channels are available to each emirate.
Harassment and Safety
- Abu Dhabi: Aman service is available when dialing 8002626 or sending an SMS to 800262
- Dubai: Al Ameen service is available when dialing 8004888 inside of the UAE and +9718004888 outside of the UAE
- Sharjah: Najeed service is available when dialing 800151 or sending an SMS to 7999
- Other crimes also available to report such as cybercrimes and domestic violence are reported online.
