Fatima Ahmed Ibrahim is a Human Resources Assistant at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, located on Palm Jumeirah’s eastern crescent and recognised as one of Hilton’s Groups most famed hotels within its extensive global portfolio.
Fatima brings over 3 years of experience to the role and has worked in both the hospitality and government sectors, ensuring that she gained 360 first-hand experiences of working on the front lines of the tourism industry early on.
Having joined the Waldorf Astoria team in September 2021, Fatima assists the HR department with all recruitment activities, such as CV sourcing, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. In addition, she takes the lead on all HR administrative tasks including assisting new team members on their onboarding process and visa applications.
Fatima is a dynamic and results driven national who earned a Business Administration and Quality Management bachelor’s degree at the Higher College of Technology. Between 2017 and 2020, she received a series of achievements including ‘Cotopia Corporation for social responsibility’, certification within the ‘1 million Arab Coders Initiative’, certification in the ‘INJAZ JA’ career success programme whilst she also volunteered in the ‘Emirates Council Ambassadors’ programme.
She started her working career as a Marketing Trainee at Radisson Blu Resort, before taking part in the UAE National Training programme led by Hilton. She then worked in Tasheel Dubai as a Customer Service Executive, before taking on the role of HR Assistant at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.
