The Malian singer, songwriter, guitarist, actress, and activist is hailed as a visionary musician and voice for unity and hope.
Diawara embraces both modernity and tradition, as she dresses with originality and brings the traditional elements of her heritage to life for her stage performances.

The multiple Grammy Award nominee sings mostly in her native Bambara and touches on topics of migration, lost childhoods, African identity, women's rights, and motherhood.
