Flights Increase by 134.5% at Oman's Airports

Airports in Oman (Muscat, Salalah, and Sohar) experienced an increase of 134.5% in flights at the end of November 2022. The total number of flights reached 57,939, which was more than the total of 24,710 in November 2021. These statistics were issued by National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
In November 2022, the total number of inbound passengers at all airports increased by 142%, while the total number of passengers from arrivals, departures, and transits amounted to 8,764,286. The number of passengers from departures increased by 111% from November 2021.
Passengers of Indian nationality topped the list of the total number of passengers from arrivals and departures at Muscat International Airport. The total number of Indian passengers reached 120,684 followed by Bangladeshi passengers at 48,313 and Pakistani passengers at 37,375.
