The Ministry of Commerce and Investment Promotion announced that foreigners in Oman can start a business in the Sultanate without a residency card.

Foreigners can launch their businesses in Oman even if they are outside of the Sultanate.
The Procedure for Starting a Business Without a Residency Card in Oman
The foreign investors will have to register at the Oman Business Platform to launch their business in Oman.
These investors can own 100% of their business in Oman without having to show the minimum capital.
Permits for the business will be issued within a specific period after submission of the application.
The Oman Business Platform has a full investment guide for applicants.
The investor has to register on the platform by logging in to the 'The Non-Citizens/Non-Residents' category.
After the applicant fills in the required information, he or she receives the code, which will allow him or her to log in to the platform and start a business in Oman.
