How to Apply for the Visa
Iraqi fans who wish to attend the match can apply for their free entry visa by registering on the Royal Oman Police (ROP) website. The registration period runs starting today, November 11 to November 18, and the visa will be valid for seven days from the date of arrival in Oman. The visas are specifically for this event and do not cover general tourism in Oman.
Supporting Regional Sports Events
This initiative is part of Oman’s ongoing efforts to support regional sporting events and promote international fan engagement. The Embassy encourages all fans wishing to show their support for their national team to take advantage of this offer.
In addition to facilitating sports tourism, the free visa program strengthens ties between Oman and Iraq, as both countries work to foster stronger connections through shared events like this football match.
