The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) expected that a depression would have an impact on the Sultanate's weather over the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

Temperatures will likely fall compared to earlier days and be in the 35 to 45 degree Celsius range provided that clouds will start to move across the majority of the governorates on Tuesday, June 27th, according to a report by the CAA.

 There is also a chance of sporadic rain and lightning during the afternoon and evening.

The governorates of Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, North Al Sharqiyah, and South Al Sharqiyah contain the majority of it in the middle and west of their hilly regions.

Wednesday and Thursday 28 June - 29 June 2023:

Winds that are moderate to active and have a speed between 15 and 25 knots may cause reefs and valleys to be washed out by scattered thunderstorms that produce 10 to 30 mm of rain.

Friday and Saturday 30 June - 1 July 2023:

It is predicted that there will be sporadic thunderstorms with a diameter of 10 to 20 mm and moderate to active winds with a speed of 15 to 20 knots.

The sea will be rough on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.

The CAA advised residents to be cautious during rain or around flowing valleys, to check the sea's condition before entering it.
