Police in the UAE capital has been giving out flowers to traffic violators instead of issuing fines.
The actual aim of the initiative is to raise awareness of road safety, making a different impact with a kind gesture.
The Abu Dhabi Police shared video of the initiative which was called ‘Hand in Hand’.

The police was giving an informative short talk to the violators to raise awareness on road safety in the UAE.
Lt Colonel Saif Mohammed Al Ameri, deputy director of the Traffic and Patrols Department in Al Ain, explained it was all about “educating motorists”.

“This initiative is aimed at enhancing awareness among drivers by educating them about the importance of safe driving by adhering to traffic rules and regulations to avoid accumulating traffic violations,” he said.
