Isolated Rainfall Expected in Certain Regions of Oman

The coastal area of Dhofar is expected to witness partial cloudy skies starting Saturday 15th of July and is anticipated to stay a little longer in the upcoming days with a chance of raindrops.
According to Oman Meteorology, it stated in a weather forecast on Saturday: “Advection of high and medium clouds is expected over most of the governorates with chances of cloud development and isolated rain. In addition, occasional thundershowers are expected over parts of Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas towards the afternoon, associated with downdraft wind.”
Low clouds or fog patches are expected along coastal parts overlooking the Sea of Oman (Muscat, North and South Al Batinah and Musandam) and areas overlooking the Arabian Sea which include the coasts of the governorates of Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar. There are chances of dust rising over deserts and open areas.
