His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan inaugurated the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2022, which will be held from October 29 to November 8 at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness awarded the medals to the first-place winners in the competitions on the tournament’s first day. His Highness praised the efforts made by the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation to create the appropriate conditions for the national team to show its skills and abilities.
The tournament will witness the competition of 2,000 male and female players, representing 70 countries. It is noteworthy that the national jiu-jitsu team succeeded, during last year's edition, in retaining the title of the world championship.
