According to the most recent ranking provided by Henley & Partners, a global investment migration consultant, the Kuwaiti passport ranked third in the Gulf region and 57th in the world for 2023, with a visa-free or visa-on-arrival score of 97.

Henley & Partners expects that the Kuwaiti passport will advance in the passport index in the near future, as Kuwait is expected to sign a visa exemption agreement with the European Union this year to grant visa-free access to 27 EU member states.

Meanwhile, the UAE passport ranked first in the Gulf and 15th in the world, allowing Emirati passport holders to visit 178 destinations around the world without the need to obtain a prior visa.

The Qatari passport ranked second in the Gulf and 55th globally, while the Bahraini passport placed fourth in the Gulf and 63rd in the world.

Both Oman and Saudi Arabia shared the fifth position in the Gulf and 65th worldwide.
