A Pakistani woman experienced a life-changing moment while performing Hajj. During the Waqoof-e-Arafah, she went into labor and was swiftly taken to Jabal Al-Rahma Hospital at Mount Arafat. On Saturday, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
A Special Name for a Special Place
In honor of the sacred location where she gave birth, the new mother named her son Arafah. This name pays tribute to Mount Arafat, where the Prophet Muhammad delivered his Farewell Sermon during his final pilgrimage.
The Importance of Mount Arafat in Islam
Mount Arafat holds great importance for Muslims worldwide. On the ninth day of Zil-Haj, the last month of the Islamic calendar, pilgrims gather here to pray and reflect. This ritual, known as Waqoof-e-Arafah, is an important part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
