On Sunday, matters concerning Indonesian pilgrims entering the Kingdom were discussed by the Indonesian Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and his accompanying group who was received by the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah in Makkah.
The discussion between the two parties focused on measures to further bilateral ties. The other common topic of discussion and concern were expanding the number of journeys to make it possible for most Indonesians to travel to the Kingdom and perform Umrah. The meeting was held as part of attempts to enhance the quality of the services offered to pilgrims, allowing them to carry out their religious rituals more easily and improving their religious and cultural experiences.
Sumadi voiced support and appreciation to the Saudi government for offering different digital services such as the Nusuk Platform to Muslims generally and Indonesian Muslims, which helped the Hajj season last year be successful.
