According to the latest guidelines issued by Mumbai's Municipal Corporation, passengers to Mumbai from the UAE will no longer have to undergo a seven-day home quarantine. This will come into effect as of midnight January 17.

UAE travellers are now exempted from the mandatory home quarantine which is in place for all international flyers.

The authority added that since the UAE is not listed under the "at-risk" countries, passengers will not need to take a RT-PCR test upon arrival at the airport.
