The first edition of Muscat Beats, a music and culture festival held at the city's largest outdoor entertainment venue, Oman Automobile Association (OAA) at Muscat Arena, has revealed the concerts' schedule over the next two weekends, starting March 2nd. 

The concerts will feature a line-up of international stars from the GCC region and South Asia.  

One of the biggest Saudi artists, Aedh Yousef, will open the festival on Thursday, March 2nd. 

The Indian musical genius Maestro Ilaiyaraaja will perform for the first time in Oman on Friday, March 3rd.

On Saturday, March 4th, popular Bangladeshi singers Ankhi Alamgir, Shakib Khan, Nazmun Munira Nancy, and Imran Mahmudul will perform at the event.

Bollywood's singing sensation Sunidhi Chauhan will kick off the next weekend with a scintillating performance on Friday, March 10th.  

Finally, legendary Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will close the festival on Saturday, March 11th.

The festival is launched under the patronage of Brigadier Jamal bin Said Al Tai, Board Member of OAA and Chairman of Muscat Beats Organizing Committee.

The event is expected to host an audience of 20,000 every night and to be a milestone in Oman's live entertainment history. 

A 24m-wide main stage created by technical partner Talentz will feature the largest IMAG LED screens ever used in Oman, designed to the best international standards, according to the event organizers.
