The Muscat Municipality has announced that the Muscat Nights Festival will take place from December 23, 2024, to January 21, 2025. The annual event, which has grown since its inception, promises a diverse lineup of activities to entertain residents and visitors.

Preparations Underway with Tenders for Advertising
In preparation for the festival, Muscat Municipality is seeking contracts with advertising companies to design, install, and manage billboards on major roads and event locations across the Muscat Governorate. Companies have until October 13 to submit their bids, with the final selections to be made on October 20.
Festival Highlights: Exhibitions, Gaming, and Celebrity Appearances
Muscat Nights 2024 will feature a wide range of exhibitions, including showcases of comic books, films, and games. Visitors can look forward to interactive gaming platforms, board game competitions, and lively discussions with celebrities from cinema, literature, and filmmaking. There will also be training workshops and educational sessions focusing on popular culture and comic book literature.
Drone and Light Shows at Qurm Natural Park
Muscat Municipality also plans to host drone and light shows in Qurm Natural Park. The event will highlight modern and contemporary light displays, utilizing cutting-edge technology to offer a visual spectacle.
A Festival with Deep Roots
Originally launched in 1998 to keep children entertained during school holidays, the Muscat Festival has since grown into a cultural event offering something for everyone. Muscat Municipality continues to expand the festival’s scope, making it a must-visit occasion for both locals and tourists.
