Muscat's Indian Embassy Celebrates Indian Republic Day

The Embassy of India in Muscat, Oman celebrated India's 75th Republic Day with an official ceremony that included important officials and members of Oman's Indian community.
The embassy officials first paid a floral tribute at the Gandhi Statue in the embassy, which was carried out by the Ambassador of India to Oman Amit Narang and his spouse Divya Narang.
The embassy also had a flag unfurling ceremony in the morning, which included Amit Narang unfurling the Indian flag.

After the Indian flag was unfurled, a choir from the Indian School Bousher sang the Indian national anthem.
The ceremony was attended by 500 participants, which included many Indians from the expatriate community in Oman.
During the ceremony, the Indian ambassador also read excerpts from the address delivered by the President of India on the eve of Republic Day.
The event concluded with the students from the Indian School singing two Indian patriotic songs.
Other than this ceremony, the embassy will also host a grand reception on the evening of Jan. 28.
