Mwasalat Unveils New Bus Service From Muscat to Sharjah

Oman National Transport Company (Mwasalat) has announced the launch of a new bus service connecting Muscat to Sharjah, scheduled to commence operations from February 27th, in an effort to enhance cross-border connectivity.
The newly introduced route will traverse via Shinas, offering commuters a convenient and affordable transportation option between the two destinations. With fares starting from OMR 10 for one-way trips and OMR 19 for return journeys, passengers can enjoy the added benefit of a generous baggage allowance of 7 kilograms for hand-carry and 23 kilograms for check-in luggage.
The inaugural bus will embark on its journey from Azaiba Bus Station in Muscat at 6:30 AM, arriving at Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah at 3:40 PM. A second service is slated to depart at 4:00 PM from Azaiba, reaching Al Jubail at 1:10 AM.
Conversely, from Sharjah, the initial bus will depart at 6:30 AM from Al Jubail Bus Station, arriving at Azaiba Bus Station by 2:30 PM. Subsequently, the second bus will commence its journey at 4:00 PM from Al Jubail, reaching Azaiba by 11:50 PM.
The introduction of this new service underscores Mwasalat's commitment to expanding and fortifying the international bus transport network between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates, facilitating seamless travel experiences for passengers and fostering closer ties between the two nations.
