A trough is anticipated to strike the Sultanate of Oman starting on Monday, July 24th, and lasting for two days until Wednesday, July 26th.

As of Monday, across South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, clouds are predicted to move over most of the governorates of the Sultanate, with a risk of isolated rain, gradually extending on Tuesday and Wednesday to cover Al Wusta and Dhofar Governorates.
In the remaining governorates, it will be partly cloudy with a chance of isolated rain.
Forecasts also predict the presence of cumulus clouds and sporadic thunderstorms over the Hajar Mountains at this time.
On the coastlines of the Sea of Oman, the waves will be medium to rough with a maximum height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters, and rough on the coasts of the Arabian Sea, with a maximum height of 4 meters.
