The Indian classical music maestro Nishat Khan will dazzle audiences in Oman this October!
Khan will perform at the Royal Opera House of Muscat for two nights, on Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 31.
Tickets are already available at the venue's official website. The second of Khan's concert will be led by the European Philharmonia, conducted by Walter Proost.
Nishat Khan is a renowned Indian sitar virtuoso and composer, celebrated for his mastery of classical Indian music. Coming from a distinguished lineage of musicians, he is the son of legendary sitarist Ustad Imrat Khan.
Khan has collaborated with a wide range of global musicians across genres like Western classical, jazz, and world music, including artists such as John McLaughlin and Philip Glass.
He has performed at iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Lincoln Center in New York, and the Sydney Opera House, gaining international acclaim for his powerful and nuanced performances.

His work has earned him various awards and honors in India and abroad, including recognition from the Sangeet Natak Akademi and other prestigious organizations for his contributions to Indian classical music.
