Oman Air has recently cancelled flights to four destinations under its new comprehensive plan to transform its flight network.
The plan involves launching services to new destinations while adjusting frequencies on the existing 25 routes.
Flights to Islamabad, Lahore (Pakistan), Chittagong (Bangladesh) and Colombo (Sri Lanka) have been cancelled under the latest adjustments.
Flights to Chittagong were added to Oman Air's flight network in 2023 only, along with flights to Maldives, Lucknow, and Thiruvananthapuram.
This move is part of Oman Air's strategy to optimise resources and position the airline for more growth opportunities by 2027.
Oman Air will also reschedule flight times to meet customer demands and create a smooth travel experience.
In 2023, Oman Air was named the Most Punctual Airline in the Middle East and North Africa.
In the same year, Oman Air also increased the frequency of flights to Bahrain and Qatar.
If you plan to travel with Oman Air to the cities mentioned above in Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka, it is best to change your plans and find another airline for your journey.
