On Sunday, the Minister of Labour, Mahad bin Said bin Ali Baowain, announced that a study had led to the decision of allowing individuals over the age of 60 to continue working in order to utilize their experience.
During his speech at the 'Together We Advance' Forum, His Excellency Mahad bin Said bin Ali Baowain mentioned that the decision to permit residents over the age of 60 to work is a flexible arrangement for employers and will create job openings for job seekers.
The 'Together We Advance' forum, which was supported by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs, was the venue where the announcement regarding the permission for residents over the age of 60 to work was made. The forum concentrated on three aspects, namely Oman's vision, financial stability, and employment.
