Oman Arrests Four People for Hunting Wild Animals
Oman's Environment Authority, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, arrested four people for hunting a number of Nubian ibex, Arabian gazelle, and wild birds in Dhofar Governorate.
The four people are Omani citizens.
Legal actions have been taken against the accused, in preparation for referring them to judicial authorities, the Environment Authority said in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The authority called upon all Oman citizens, residents and tourists to abide by environmental laws to avoid legal accountability.
