Get ready, Oman! The National Center for Early Warning of Multi-Hazards has issued a weather alert for the Sultanate. From Monday, August 19, through Wednesday, August 21, a low-pressure system is expected to bring a deluge of rain and potential flash floods.

The forecast predicts increased cloud cover across most of Oman, with isolated showers likely nationwide. However, the heaviest rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar, parts of Muscat, and the Al Hajar Mountains.

With the risk of flash floods high in these regions, the National Center urges everyone to stay informed through weather updates and exercise caution. The situation is being closely monitored, and authorities are prepared to provide timely information to ensure public safety.
