Oman Meteorology, in a recent statement, outlined the anticipated weather conditions, stating, "Clouds are forecasted to form and drift over Musandam Governorate, bringing with them scattered rain ranging between 10-20 mm. Additionally, there are chances of flowing reefs and valleys."
The weather forecast extends to include opportunities for the formation and flow of clouds, leading to scattered rainfall over parts of the Al Hajar Mountains and the coasts of the Sea of Oman.
Furthermore, residents and travelers in Oman should be prepared for the possibility of low clouds and fog, particularly during late-night and early-morning hours. This atmospheric phenomenon is expected to occur over various regions, including Musandam, Al Dhahirah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar, and parts of the coast along the Sea of Oman.
The weather update serves as a reminder for residents and visitors to stay informed about changing conditions and take necessary precautions during the forecasted depression. Oman Meteorology will continue to monitor and provide updates as needed to ensure public safety.
As the Sultanate prepares for potential rainfall and associated weather patterns, residents are advised to stay tuned to official weather announcements and exercise caution, especially when traveling in affected regions.
