Oman has strongly condemned the latest wave of violence in Gaza, denouncing what it called the “ongoing aggression” by Israeli forces that has claimed innocent lives and targeted key humanitarian sites.

In a statement released Friday by Oman’s Foreign Ministry, the country expressed deep concern over the airstrikes on Gaza’s Tuffah district, which included the bombing of a shelter center connected to Dar Al-Arqam School and the destruction of a warehouse storing medical and relief supplies run by the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage.

A Call for Global Accountability

Oman didn't hold back in its appeal to the world, urging the international community—especially the UN Security Council—to step up and take “decisive action” to stop what it described as serious violations of international law.

The statement reaffirmed Oman’s support for justice and dignity for the Palestinian people, calling for an immediate end to the Israeli occupation and pushing for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Backing Peace, Justice & Human Rights

This isn't the first time Oman has voiced its support for peace in the region. The country continues to align with the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions, standing firm on the need for lasting solutions that prioritize civilian safety and political sovereignty.

As the situation in Gaza worsens, Oman’s message to the world is loud and clear: enough is enough—it's time for accountability, action, and lasting peace.
