The ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier semi-finals saw Oman claiming an emphatic, 10-wicket victory over Bahrain at TU Cricket Ground to seal its place in the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

This is the first time Oman will be featuring in the tournament beyond the preliminary stage.

Meanwhile, Nepal beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by eight wickets in front of a packed home crowd at Mulpani Cricket Ground, also sealing its place in the World Cup.

Oman and Nepal will now face each other in the tournament final on Sunday, November 5th.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup is taking place in 2024 in the West Indies and the US, featuring 20 teams for the very first time. 

The teams will be separated into five teams of four groups.

Eighteen teams have secured qualification so far for the tournament, and the last two spots will be decided from the Africa Qualifiers, to be held from November 22nd to November 30th in Namibia.
