Oman is expected to witness rainfall and thundershowers in some areas for five days from Sunday, March 19th, until Thursday, March 23rd, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.

The CAA attributed the forecast to an air trough that may affect the country.

Clouds advection, isolated rainfall, and occasional thundershowers are expected in the governorates of South Al-Sharqiya, North Al-Sharqiya, Dhofar, and Al-Wusta.

The sea state will be moderate to rough along most of the coasts with maximum wave height ranging between 2-3 meters.

The CAA advised the public to take necessary precautions during rainfall and also to follow the released weather reports for further updates.
