Oman Expected to See Rains and Thundershowers From Monday to Wednesday

Oman's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has forecasted isolated rainfall in the country starting from Monday, March 27th, until the evening of Wednesday, March 29th, due to an air depression.
Occasional thundershowers associated with downdraft wind are also expected during the three days.
Oman Meteorology said that the peak of the impact will be on Tuesday and will last until Wednesday morning.
The rainfall is expected over the governorates of Musandam, Al Dhahirah, Al Buraimi and Dhofar, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiyah, and Al Wusta.
The authority added that the sea state will be moderate to rough along most of the coasts with a maximum of 2-3 meters wave height.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) urged farmers, livestock breeders, beekeepers, and fishermen in the governorates expected to be affected by the rains to take caution to ensure their safety and the safety of their property.

The ministry also called on everyone to move away from dams and their drainage channels.
