Oman has unveiled its latest tourism initiative, the “Journey into the Heart of Oman” campaign, set to kick off in January 2025. The announcement was made by H.E. Issa Saleh Al Shaibani, Oman’s Ambassador to India, at a special ceremony emphasizing the growing tourism partnership between Oman and India.

A Collaborative Effort to Boost Tourism

This campaign is a joint effort with Ibex Expeditions from India and Oman’s Bait Al Qanoon Foundation. It aims to engage various business organizations from India and other nations, showcasing Oman’s rich culture and diverse tourism offerings. 

Focusing on Sustainable Travel

The Bait Al Qanoon Foundation, known for its innovative tourism strategies, is dedicated to creating immersive travel experiences that appeal to modern tourists. This initiative seeks to enhance Oman’s image as a top destination for sustainable and responsible tourism, especially targeting eco-conscious travelers.

Growing Interest in Oman as a Travel Destination

The launch event brought together Indian government officials, international diplomats, and business leaders, highlighting the increasing interest in Oman as a key destination for global travelers. The campaign is expected to create new opportunities for tourism and strengthen connections between Oman and international markets, particularly India.
