The Ministry of Labour, in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and other security agencies, has launched a state-of-the-art recruitment system called Tazamun. The initiative, introduced on Wednesday, seeks to improve hiring processes and support Oman’s national workforce goals.
Emphas is on Technology
During the event, H.E. Khalid bin Salem Al Ghamari, Undersecretary for Labour, highlighted the importance of incorporating advanced technologies into employment systems. He stated, “This project is part of a national strategy to enhance recruitment efficiency and support workforce development in collaboration with key sectors like defence and security.”
How Tazamun Works
A detailed presentation showcased the functionality of Tazamun. Yahya bin Mohammed Al Battashi, Director of the Department of Other Units Affairs at the Ministry of Labour, explained that the system leverages cutting-edge technology to streamline recruitment, improve performance, and align with the objectives of Oman’s Ministry of Defence and other agencies.
National Workforce Goals
The Tazamun system aligns with Oman’s broader efforts to enhance employment opportunities for its citizens while addressing the needs of the defence and security sectors. Officials emphasized its role in achieving consistency and better outcomes in the recruitment process.
