Oman Met Forecasts Air Depression During This Weekend


Oman Meteorology has forecasted an air depression across the country from Thursday, Oct. 26 to Saturday, Oct. 28.
The meteorology department expects clouds of varying weights to cover the skies across the northern governates.
The department has also forecasted scattered rain across and an increase of cumulus clouds over the Hajar Mountains and the nearby areas.
There are also chances of scattered rain and thunderstorms accompanied by active downward winds.
Heavy rain was forecasted on Oct. 24 across the Governate of Dhofar and the southern parts of Wusta.
The Dhofar governate had already recorded the highest amount of rainfall with more than 200 meters from Sunday, Oct. 22 until Tuesday, Oct. 24.
The basic service sector has been working to restore services in various wilayats across the governate of Dhofar.
