Oman Met: Tropical Storm Likely to Form in Arabian Sea Within 24 Hours

The Oman Meteorology Department revealed that the tropical depression over the Arabian Sea has become a deep tropical depression and it is likely to become a tropical storm in 24 hours.
The meteorology department shared in its online statement that the tropical depression is located in the south-central of the Arabian Sea and is 1,165 km away from Oman's coast.
The tropical storm is expected to move north or northeastwards, which will be towards the centre of the Arabian Sea.
According to the Met Department, the storm is expected to have no direct impact on the weather of Oman for the next five days.
