Tourism Highlights

Dakhliyah is known for its stunning tourist destinations, including Nizwa, Jabal Akhdar, and Jabal Shams. Jabal Shams is the highest peak in the Western Hajar Mountains, standing nearly 3,000 meters above sea level. Nizwa is particularly popular for its historic fort and vibrant souq, famous for traditional handicrafts and silverwork.

Jabal Akhdar attracts both regional and international visitors, thanks to its pleasant climate and breathtaking views. Notably, over 84,800 tourists visited Dakhliyah in the first half of 2024, marking a 7.37% increase compared to 79,000 visitors during the same period last year.
