Oman was ranked as the best country in the world for express mail service by the Universal Postal Union in 2022. The ranking includes 190 countries.

Oman Post, the national postal services operator affiliated with Asyad Group, has worked to improve its services and competitiveness over the past few years, offering a range of express mail delivery solutions that meet international standards.

This achievement reflects the transition of postal services from conventional to competitive commercial services, keeping up with global developments. Oman's progress in the ranking has steadily improved over the years, rising from the 74th position to the 75th position in 2020 and reaching the top position in 2022, making it the world's leading courier service.

According to Ahmed bin Ali al Balushi, Head of Assets Unit at Asyad Group, Oman Post's achievement of the top position in the global ranking of express mail services is a testament to the sound development methodology of Asyad Group and its significant role both locally and globally. He emphasized that Oman Post will continue to work towards achieving its vision of making Oman a global logistics center and an attractive destination for investors.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Sultan al Hosni, Acting CEO of Oman Post and Asyad Express, highlighted the company's growth in commercial operations and logistics solutions in recent years. This has led to the improvement of the company's operational efficiency and service levels, including the activation of a last-mile delivery service in 2021, providing mail delivery service to the client's doorstep.
